The black, white, red and camel pattern known as
" Haymarket Check " or "Burberry Classic Check" or "Novacheck".
This pattern was introduces as a lining to the trench coat in 1920s.
The color tone of original burberry is in Saturation Constant
The black, white, red and camel are total different colors but in same intensity
When looking at this check pattern, you won't believe there are only 4 colors
i.e. it seems more than 4 colors
It's because there is including the colors at intersetion
It creates a mono-chromatic effects that use of numerous shades or tints of same hue
Camel and Red is analogous color -> use adjacent to each other on color wheel (30° either side);
Black and White is Achromatic Color -> colorless
By 1980s, Britain licensed Japan to introduce a new product line, Blue Label.
The new product line targets younger women or ladies;
so there will be little differences in the color used
The check pattern will be mainly in some Pastel Colors rather than Camel.
But the principles are almost the same except there won't be any analogous color
In original, camel and red analogous color
In Blue Label, they are mainly mono-chromatic
Light Red (Pink) with Red
Light Blue with Blue
